Iran resumes electricity exports to neighbors

Iran is now implementing its commitments for exchanging energy with neighboring countries, Reza Ardakanian said addressing a press conference in Parand Power Plant.

Elaborating on Iraq debts, he said, 'They started paying the outstanding amount.'

In addition to exports, Iran is now able to import electricity from Turkmenistan and Armenia, Ardakanian said.

Responding to another question on German Company 'Siemens' withdrawal, he said the company's commitments are still underway.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Iranian minister referred to border waters saying there are many ways for developing relations in this.

'We will promote water relations with neighbors,' he reiterated.
