Iran ready to maintain co-op with Afghanistan on tech transfer

Mahdi Karbasian made the remarks Friday in a meeting with Afghan ministerial delegation.

He pointed to Afghanistan rich reserves of iron ore, extending Iran’s readiness to construct joint factory with Afghanistan.

Iran is also ready to launch mineral material research center in Afghanistan, he added.

Meanwhile, Head of Afghanistan Geological Survey (AGS) Taher Rezaie said that Afghan delegation visited Iran Mineral Processing Research Center (IMPRC), Sangan factories.

Afghan nine-member delegation headed by Rezaie is also scheduled to visit Yazd and Tabas mines.

The trip aims at visiting mines, getting familiar with technology and science transfer.
