Specific geographical location of Kenya in East of Africa and the country’s willingness to broaden economic cooperation with the private as well as state-run organizations in Iran will be of prime importance in broadening such ties, he said.
One of the aims of the economic delegations to Kenya is to finalize establishment of banking cooperation with Kenya as the entrance gate to east of the African market, he said.
Highlighting Iran’s access to regular shipping line destined to Kenya, he said grounds for Iranian-made products to that market are well-prepared.
Bitumen, oil, uncooked pulp food, paraffin wax, black tea ferment, industrial oil and urea, were among Iran's most important export products exported to Kenya and Iran’s imports from the country mainly consisted Pineapples, shrub roses, soft drinks and vehicles with piston engines, according to IRNA.
