Iran, Belgium to cooperate in production of gas turbines

Managing Director of Mapna Boiler Co. Abdol Majid Rajabi said on Thursday that given to Mapna Boiler's valuable experiences and the latest world technologies by CMI, the company is to build the most modern thermo-recycle boilers in a wide range of production capacities and operational model.

Rajabi said the two companies have signed agreement in this concern.

He added that the CMI is to share know-how and license of thermo-recycle boilers in downstream of gas turbines class F and H and higher capacities for duration of 10 years to Mapna Boiler Engineering and Manufacturing Company.

Rajabi said that the agreement could be renewed for another five years.

Managing Director of Belgian Company ' CMI' Jean –Michele Gerard said the company celebrated its 200 anniversary of foundation recently and said that it has the second rank in the world power plant recycle boilers.

He said Iran has high capacity for building combined cycle by around 58 percent efficiency which could be implemented by using class F turbines.

Gerard said that the best deal on transferring technology is on design and execution, which Mapna has achieved the technology.
