Moderate quake jolts Sarakhs in northeastern Iran

According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 20:06 hours local time (15:36 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 60.99 degrees longitude and 36.35 degreed latitude and in depth of seven kilometers underground.

Sarakhs located in 185 kilometers east of Mashad by 90,000 populations and is bordering with Turkmenistan.

There is no immediate report on the possible casualties or damages.
