Iran-Austria should make plans operational: Austrian minister

Hans Jörg Schelling said that the presence of two distinguished Austrian banks in Iran is for examining the situations for implementing the plans, adding Iran has had a lot of progress in banking that is very important to Austria.

Saying that the members of his accompanying delegation show how serious Austria is about relations with Iran, Schelling added there has been collaboration in training.

Another thing that shows Austria’s seriousness is the opening of an account for Iranian Central Bank in the Austrian Central Bank.

The Governor of the Iranian Central Bank Valiollah Seif said in the meeting that 22 Iranian banks have started cooperation with Austrian Oberbank and brokerage ties between with Oberbank and Raiffeisen Bank is at a good level.
