In the exhibition, 85 companies displayed their capabilities in the field of rail, road, air and maritime transport.
Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan Republic in opening ceremony pointed to the necessity of participation of all countries in regional transport plans, and said that to complete transport networks, such as completion and development of infrastructures, creation of multipurpose logistics system and providing transportation safety needs a lot of works.
He pointed to important role of international corridors 'North-South' and 'East-West' in transporting consignments and shuttling passengers.
Companies from Iran, Azerbaijan Republic, Belarus, Lithuania, Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Greece and several other countries displayed their equipments and capabilities in the field of transportation.
The fair will work until June 13, 2018.
