Director General of Energy Ministry’s Public Relations Department Seddiqeh Babran said late Tuesday the documents included a document of joint economic commission, two documents on customs cooperation and a document related to sports.
According to Babran, documents on the joint economic commission and sports were signed by Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian and two customs documents were inked by the head of Iran’s Customs administration.
During closing ceremony of the 15th session of Iran-Armenia Joint Cooperation Commission, Ardakanian stressed the need for encouraging the two countries' public and private sectors to raise economic exchanges and make joint investments.
Fortunately, the 15th session of Iran-Armenia Technical, Economic and Cultural Commission was held in under a friendly and sincere atmosphere, she said, noting that during meetings with the Armenian officials, it was understood that the Armenian government is determined to promote cooperation with Iran.
There is no doubt that holding the session and signing cooperation documents and exchanging delegations indicate the resolve of the two countries’ top-ranking officials to boost cooperation in all levels, she said.
“We favor development and progress of Armenia and promoting all-out ties and consider the joint commission as a suitable ground for this purpose,” she said.
