
In an exclusive interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday, Ahmed Nasser dismissed the rumors that the Shalamcheh border has been closed, and said, 'Operation at the Shalamcheh border terminal is underway for foreign and Iranian citizens and business as usual, and there are no problems for commuters and business activity in this border.'
He said the daily commute of foreigners on the border with Shalamcheh was normal, adding that on average, 400 and 600 people cross the border of the Shalamcheh daily.
The Shalamcheh passenger terminal serves passengers with 32 Passengers controlling booths with a daily capacity of 100,000.
