Envoy: Yazd's trade exchanges with Nigeria expanding

Morteza Rahimi Zarchi, on Monday, in a meeting with the Deputy Coordinating Director for Economic Affairs and Development Resources of Governorate of Yazd, said that Nigeria's interest in expanding trade and investment cooperation in the province must be increased with regard to capabilities.

He added, “Major goods imported from Nigeria are machinery, minerals, consuming goods and food industries that this country is ready to import Zinc mineral products and Sesame products to develop exchanges with Yazd.'

Deputy Coordinating Director for Economic Affairs and Development Resources of Governorate of Yazd also stated that the senior management of the province is interested in developing communication and cooperation with the countries of the world, especially in the field of foreign investment while declaring Yazd's readiness to increase cooperation with Nigeria.

Ali Zainivand added, “In the province, more than 800 different kinds of goods, including some famous brands, are being produced, and there is readiness to develop cooperation in the fields of economics, food industry, tile and ceramics, crafts, mines and textile industries with the African continent and Nigeria.'
