“Iran’s relations with China are good and there’s been a considerable leap in our ties,” said Iran’s envoy to China Mohammad Keshavarz-zadeh, addressing a group of Iranian businessmen resident in the Asian country on Sunday.
The official said high-level talks and meetings between Iranian and Chinese authorities, including a recent visit by Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani as well as Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to China.
“Through the positive efforts of both countries we will witness more development than before in our bilateral ties including various sectors such as economic, polítical and cultural affairs.
He stressed that Iranian businessmen can play an important role in strengthening the economic relations between Iran and China.
The Iranian ambassador stressed that he would try to resolve banking and financial problems that have caused some problems for bilateral trade.
