East Azarbaijan’s goods exported to 98 countries

“In the first nine months of this year, 1,950 tons of goods, worth $ 1.640 billion were exported from the province, showing an increase of 5.4 percent in weight compared to the figure in the same period last year,' said Deputy Director of Business and Trade Development of the East Azarbaijan Mining and Trade Organization Gholamali Rasti on Wednesday evening.

He added, 'Most exports were destined to Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, respectively”.

Rasti went on to say, “Industrial goods accounted for 44 percent of non-oil exports from the province over the past nine months, and agricultural products, chemical and petrochemicals, metals and minerals ranked next, respectively.”
