Brigadier General Ahmad Taheri said on Thursday that thanks to a series of extensive intelligence work, the policemen gained clues about smuggling of heavy consignment of narcotics, due to be shipped from the border areas to Khash.

He added that the intelligence and operational teams of the police, with intangible surveillance of the gangs, identified the members of the gang with a white Toyota escorted by a silver Peugeot 405 car, as it transported heavy cargo on Khash–Iranshahr road.
