Chinese companies determined to raise quality of exports to Iran: Expert

Sophie LV who is in Iran as the sales manager of China Dandong Dafeng Food Company to attend the Iran AgroFood 2016 exhibition stressed that the Chinese companies have to improve the quality of their products to be able to survive in Iran's competitive market.

The official said it was quite evident from the performance of the participants in the exhibition that the Iranian market will be subject to more sever competitions in the future so the Chinese producers have to focus on introducing better items to the Iranian customers.

The Chinese official sales expert referred to poor packing skills and improper ways of showcasing products as the major problems affecting the work of the Iranians producers.

Chinese companies have had no major problems so far in trading with Iran as the two countries grew so close during years of sanctions against the former, added the official.

The 23rd International Exhibition of Food, Food Technology and Agriculture (Agrofood 2016) started in Tehran on May 30 and worked until June 2 with the participation of 746 foreign companies from 46 world states.

Also, 710 domestic companies were present in the international event.
