Hossein Safavi said on Tuesday at the first national conference on medical equipment in Tarbiat Modares University that the number of domestic products included a higher percentage. Imported goods are products that have more rial value due to sensitivities and technology. Of course, in recent years, domestic producers have moved to producing high-sensitive and high-value goods.
He stated that 25 medical products were first produced in the country, indicating that the movement of medical equipment manufacturers is positive and promising. With regard to the sanctions and the lower dependence of the currency, the fluctuations that we are facing will decrease in this way.
“The quality of domestic products can compete with similar products in other countries and it is an honor regarding the country's situation and sanctions,' Safavi continued.
