40m liters of gasoline to be produced at PG Star Refinery

Soroush Ziglari told reporters on Saturday that the gasoline producing unit is in the final stages of construction and installation and will be completed by the end of this year and will be put into production circuits.

Referring to the completion of the third stage of distillation unit at the Persian Gulf Star condensate refinery, he added, 'The final capacity of this unit is 120,000 barrels per day.'

Director of operation at Persian Gulf Star condensate refinery said, 'Naphtha desalination units are in the final stages of construction and installation and will be launched this fall.'

According to Ziglari, due to supplying Persian Gulf Star oil refinery from South Pars gas field, we have been working hard to prevent the sale of crude oil.

The Persian Gulf Star Refinery is defined as the world's largest gas condensate refinery with a capacity of 360,000 barrels per day in the form of three phases of 120,000 barrels with the aim of producing gasoline, gas oil, and jet fuel, being built on an area of 700 acre located 25 kilometers west of Bandar Abbas since 2006, along with the current Bandar Abbas refinery.

The refinery includes distillation units, liquid gas purification, catalytic conversion, naphtha filtration, isomerisation, kerosene refining and gas oil for the production of gasoline, gas oil, liquid gas and jet fuel.
