He told reporters that the amount of exported goods increased one percent by weight as compared with the preceding year's corresponding period.

Mohammadi said from these amount 20.461 million tons goods worth 7.959 billion dollars included petrochemicals, mineral fertilizers, cement and clinker, different types of fishes and shrimp, sulfur, marine platform components, gypsum and plaster, alfalfa and tomato, which shown increase 3 percent by weight and 6 percent by price in comparison with preceding year.

He said that the rest of exports were gas condensates, adding that the products were exported mainly to China, Korea Republic, the United Arab Emirates, India, Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, Taiwan, Kenya and Qatar.

The provincial official said that during the same period 1.167 million tons of goods worth 2.427 billion dollars were imported into the country the provincial customs.

Goods like banana, auto spare parts, tire, rice, tea and toys were imported into the country, he added.
