No Decline in Enmity against Iran: IRGC Chief

Hostility against the Islamic Revolution, which by nature rejects the arrogance, has not been over, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said in a gathering of IRGC Navy personnel in Iran's southern region of Assaluyeh on Wednesday.

The enemies may only change the appearance and tactics in their hostile plots proportional to the time, the commander warned.

The general further hailed the IRGC’s high level of military preparedness, something he said even the foes have admitted.

Pointing to the arrest of 10 US Navy sailors by the IRGC Navy in the Persian Gulf in January, Major General Jafari said any similar incident at any location will draw the same reaction by the IRGC forces.

The IRGC captured 10 US Navy sailors inside Iran’s territorial waters in the Persian Gulf on January 12, but released them a day later following an apology and after technical and operational investigations indicated that the intrusion into Iranian territorial waters was unintentional.
