Twin tremors jolt southwestern Iran

According to the seismological center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 12:12 hours local time (7:42 GMT Friday) in the depth of 7 kilometers.

The quake took place eleven kilometers to Mollasani which is capital of Bavi County in Khuzestan Province.

An aftershock measuring 2.3 on the Richter scale also occurred in the region in the depth of 6 kilometers at 12:21 hours local time (7:51 GMT).
