Addressing a meeting on impacts of sanctions on health care, Ahmad Qavidel said that sanction is a war but it lacks any regulations.
“Even sanctions should have regulations so that the public will not get damaged,” he said.
Currently, it is the US which has sanctioned Iran and the Americans are lying when they say medicine is not subject to sanctions, he said, noting that they should be accountable for that.
“If we could not buy medicine from the relevant channel, we will be obliged to purchase low-quality medicine,” he said.
Legal experts should help work out regulations for the sanctions, Qavidel said.
