Tehran Press Exhibition ends

Best media outlets, press and pavilions of this round of the exhibition were honored during the closing gathering, also attended by Head of Persian Language and Literature Academy Gholamali Haddad-Adel.

The 23rd Press Exhibition opened in Imam Khomeini Mosalla (grand mosque) on October 27 with the motto of ‘Free Media, Social Cohesion and National Progress’.

'The Exhibition sprawling in an area of 13,000 square meters, hosted 940 media in 600 pavilions, including some 100 monthly journals, 54 weeklies, 52 quarterlies, over 115 online media, 70 local and provincial media and over 60 newspapers and press institutes.

A number of workshops and panels in the field on journalism and challenges of the modern media were also held on the sidelines of the event.
