Tehran, Baku to sign MoU on cinematic cooperation

During the meeting, Tabesh, who is Baku to the accompaniment of Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Abbas Salehi to attend Iran’s Cultural Week, underlined the need for promotion of mutual cooperation in the field of cinema.

Expressing pleasure with production of joint films ‘High Voltage’ and ‘Fort of Love’ by Iran and Azerbaijan Republic, Tabesh hoped that more projects will be undertaken by the two neighboring states’ cineastes.

Joint production of the films, cooperation in the field of cinematic education, script writing and screening of the Iranian films were also discussed during the meeting.

Iran’s Cultural Week opened in Baku on June 27 and will continue in Ganjeh until July 1.

Last year, Isfahan and Ardebil in Iran hosted Azerbaijan Cultural week.
