Sites attacked in Syria evacuated earlier: HR watch

Director of the Observatory Rami Abdolrahman told AFP on Saturday that all the sites targeted by US Friday night strikes have been evacuated since three days ago.

Human Rights Watch had announced last Wednesday that Syrian Army has evacuated airports and several military centers in Damascus following US threats to attack the country.

The Syrian Army commander said on Saturday that some 110 missiles were fired at Damascus but most of them were intercepted by Syrian air defense.

The United States, together with France and the UK, carried out precision air strikes against targets in Syria following a suspected nerve gas attack on the Syrian town of Douma last Saturday.
