Russian version of ‘Iran from Khomeini to Khamenei’, ‘Water of Life’ on shelves

‘Water of Life’ includes Russian rendering of poems by the late founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini while ‘Iran from Khomeini to Khamenei’ written by Dimitry Jokov features Imam Khomeini’s biography ranging from his childhood to leadership of the Islamic Revolution 1979.

The books were released with the support of Iran’s Embassy to Russia, Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam’s Works and Iran’s Cultural Office in Iran’s Embassy.

Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei wrote in his telegram account that the book ‘Iran from Khomeini to Khamenei’ encompasses topics such as political situation in pre-Revolution era and grounds of establishing the Islamic popular movement, impacts of the Islamic Revolution on global political conditions, Imam’s viewpoints regarding various social issues including worldview and status of human, leading simple life as well as place of women in the society.

Iran’s going through hardships in post-Revolution era, election of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei to Leadership as well as memories of Imam’s companions are among the other chapters of the book.
