Pointing out that the international committee of the Red Cross has always cooperated well with the Iranian Red Crescent in the implementation of various humanitarian projects and control of disasters, Carbonnier said, 'The Iranian Red Crescent has always done very well in Middle East, Africa and Latin American countries.”
Carbonnier welcomed the proposal by the Secretary-General of the Red Crescent Society of Iran to help victims of the armed conflict in various countries, including Yemen, and said the committee has always sought to raise cooperation with national populations, especially in order to strengthen and increase assistance to victims of armed conflict, but the issue of security is very important.
He added, 'In these cases, the aim of the committee is always to act in a way that the parties involved are accepting the presence of this humanitarian institution, in addition to welcoming your offer of cooperation in Yemen, we point out that there are many conditions and restrictions in Yemen that would reduce the opportunity for cooperation.”
