Quake jolts southern Iran

According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of University of Tehran, the quake took place at 04:28am (0058 GMT).

The epicenter of the quake was registered at 27.65 degrees in latitude and 56.48 degrees in longitude.

There were no reports on possible damage or casualties caused by the tremor.
