
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, the declaration pointed to the complicated and rapidly changing challenges in the world such as terrorism, extremism, radicalism, violence, apartheid, xenophobia and other forms of impatience.
It encouraged friendly relations, holding constant dialogue among countries and need for international cooperation and understanding as a tool to consider cultural, social, economic and political challenges.
The ministers also underlined cultural diplomacy as soft and vigilant power to promote dialogue among civilizations.
Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, as representative of ancient Iran civilization attended forum and delivered speech there.
The first ministerial conference of the states of the Ancient Civilizations Forum was held in Athens on April 24, 2017.
