Pakistan offers a second condolence over Tehran fire incident

Pakistan foreign ministry in its statement released on Saturday said, 'Our hearts go out for the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones in the tragic incident.'

“May Allah bless the departed souls and recover the injured at the earliest,” it said.

Yesterday, Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif, in a separate statement, also expressed deep grief over the incident.

A big fire broke out in Tehran's first trade center, the Plasco Building, on January 19 causing the eventual collapse of the high-rise building. A number of firefighters were trapped under the rubbles. Search and rescue operation has been underway since then to save them.
