Overturned bus leaves 19 injured in southern Iran

High speed has caused the accident in Shiraz-Marvdasht road, Colonel Ahmadi said.

Two hands of two passengers and leg of a woman were cut off in the accident, he said.

Some 12 ambulances and one helicopter were sent to the scene of accident to transfer injured passengers to nearby hospitals for immediate medical care, he said.

Rescue teams from Shiraz city were also dispatched to the scene of the accident.
