Over one ton of narcotic drugs seized in SE Iran

Commander of the provincial police Brigadier General Mohammad Qanbari said the law enforcement forces after receiving tips that the merchants of death intended to transport a large amount of illicit drugs from the city of Sarbaz using two four-wheel drive vehicles launched their specialized operations in cooperation with provincial anti-drug squads.

After watching the route, the anti-drug squads managed to locate two four-wheel drive vehicles left on an arduous mountainous road and after searching them discovered 1,169 kg of narcotic drugs , he said.

The commander said the provincial police by relying on their intelligence capability and keeping a constant eye on drug trafficking bands will never allow them to attain their sinister goals.
