Official: Iran to help UN with demining plans in border areas

Shojaie Kiasari made the remarks on Saturday in a meeting with representative of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in Iran Will Parks.

He urged UNICEF to present its written request to Iran and Iraq and to make operational the trilateral agreement.

Due to the damages which are caused by military mine explosions in Iran's border areas, Iran welcomes UNICEF plan.

Meanwhile, Parks appreciated cooperation between Interior Ministry and UNICEF office in Tehran.

He also called on the Iranian ministry to present ideas for holding training workshops to accomplish development plans.
