Iran, Indonesia to explore ways of boosting scientific co-op

Indonesian Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Mohammad Nasirm, heading a high-ranking delegation, in a visit to Tehran, will meet Zia Hashemi, Iran's caretaker Minister of Science, Research and Technology on Monday.

The visiting minister will also hold talks with Iran's head of Nanotechnology Initiative Council.

Meeting head of Shiraz University and visiting Islamic World Science Citation Center are scheduled for the Indonesian Minister.

Nasir will also address the opening ceremony of the 5th committee of science and technology .

Signing the agreements on joint scientific-technological cooperation between Iran and Indonesia, beginning a new chapter in the two countries scientific interaction in various fields, such as nano and bio-technologies, aerospace, science and technology parks, and joint research projects as well as students and professor exchange plans are other programs of the Indonesian Minister in his visit to Iran.
