New Iranian satellite in first step of design: Official

On the sidelines of signing a memorandum of understanding with Iran Post Company, Homayoon Sadr told the reporters that after the designing phase, the project will continue through creating a consortium between the mentioned academic and research centers.

Sadr said that the goal of the consortium is to create a strong private sector in the space industry to be utilized in great projects.

He also said that the second phase of the project will be carried out in late summer.
