Mine explosion kills one in southern Iran

Due to severe injuries in head, leg and abdomen, the teenager died in the hospital following the explosion of a mine in the southwestern province of Khuzestan, Norouz Savari, head of health department at Susa said to Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

The explosion of mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) caused death and injury of a number of fellow-citizens in the border areas in Susa each year.
