
Salehi-Amiri made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Polish Secretary of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, Anna Maria Anders, in Tehran on Monday.
Cultural relations between Iran and Poland dates as back as some 500 years ago and it is for over 200 years that Poland has been attempting to teach Persian language, which indicates depth of relations between the two countries, he said.
Iran is ready to broaden cultural cooperation with Poland in various fields such as music, theatre, symphonic orchestra, paintings, calligraphy and visual arts, Salehi-Amiri said.
Iran has had a breakthrough in cinematic affairs in the past three decades in terms of capacity, human resources as well as technical aspects, he said.
Publication of books and translation of works will be among topics that could help attain the goal, he said.
Iran welcomes foreign investment in arts as well as cultural sectors, he said.
Visiting Polish Secretary of State in the office of the prime minister, for her part underlined expansion of cultural and art cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Poland.
Setting up cultural and art galleries can help the two nations become more acquainted with each other, she said.
Grounds for expansion of economic cooperation are well prepared but culture could be regarded as a good excuse to consolidate such relations, she said.
