Mild quake jolts central Iran

According to the Seismological Center affiliated to the Institute of Geophysics of Tehran University, the quake occurred at 21:18 hours local time at the depth of 10 kilometers underground.

No report on possible casualty or damage has been released yet.

Behabad is located 200 kilometers from Yazd city and 80 kilometers from Bafq.

Iran sits on major seismological fault lines, making it one of the world's most quake-prone countries.
