Milan Charity market collect donations for Iran quake victims

The charity market, which presents Iranian foods and handicrafts, was run by Iran's Consulate General at Imam Ali Cultural Center. Iranian residents of the city also contributed to the initiative.

A huge number of Iranians as well as Italians have made donations to the people who were affected by the recent 7.3-magnitude quake in Kermanshah Province.

The earthquake on November 12 shook the western province of Kermanshah and the regions bordering Iraq last week killing at least 437 people and injuring over ten thousands others.

Iran's Consulate General in Milan announced that the aids gathered via the charity market will be sent to Iran's Red Crescent through the country's foreign ministry.

Italy's foreign ministry has declared that two planes carrying humanitarian aids has been dispatched to Iran and Iraq following the quake in the two countries.
