Largest ME water park opens in Tehran

Director General of Youth Affairs and Sports Office in Tehran Province Reza Golmohammadi told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that the water park, neighboring Chitgar Park west of Tehran, covers an area of 55,000 square meters.

“The park was constructed by the private sector with an investment of 1,600 billion Rls and $ 17 million.

All equipment, including the 13 water slides, are all of the highest quality and meet global standards, Golmohammadi added.

The water park has the capacity of giving service to 3,000 people simultaneously and parking capacity of 800 cars.

18 other construction projects will be opened by the end of the Persian year (March 20, 2018) across Tehran Province, he added.
