Iran with its great history and rich civilization has now a high place in world culture, Italian Ambassador to Iran Mauro Conchatori told reporters.

He made the remarks in a press conference on Italian Film Week, expected to be held in the Iranian capital, Tehran from July 1-6.

Except the US, Iran has good cultural exchange with the world, the envoy added.

He praised Iran's artistic capabilities in various fields of theater, cinema, graphic and visual arts.
