Chief of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Steering and Monitoring Committee Saeb Erekat earlier in a statement slammed the Zionists' crimes in Gaza Strip saying, “The Israeli regime deployed its army, including snipers, to attack peaceful Palestinian demonstrators, including unarmed women, men, and children. Israel is trying to make the world believe that a group of unarmed youth represents a threat to its army in order to justify its brutal attacks against Palestinian civilians.”
