Islamic Azad University to open branches in Syria

Ali Reza Rahaei told RT News that licenses for establishing Islamic Azad University branches in many Syrian cities were obtained during a meeting between Head of Founding Board of the University Ali Akbar Velayati and President Bashar Assad.

The official further noted that some local branches have cooperation with certain internationally-known universities across the world.

Islamic Azad University has earlier established branched in Lebanon, Afghanistan, Britain and the UAE and currently, it has scientific cooperation with Germany, Russia and Azerbaijan Republic.
