IRNA, Mexican news agency to develop cooperation on professional reporting

The agreement was signed by IRNA Managing Director Mohammad Khoddadi and Head of Notimex News Agency Alejandro Ramos Esquivel.

The two sides expressed interest to strengthen bilateral relations in the field of news transmission including production and distribution of news and photos.

This is the first ever official agreement signed between the two news agencies.

Upon the agreement, the two news agencies will develop their cooperation in the framework of their authorities.

Holding medium and long-term training courses as well as technical cooperation on bilateral, regional and international level are among contents of the agreement.

Alejandro Ramos Esquivel arrived in Tehran on Saturday morning.

He held negotiations with Managing Director of 'Iran Press Institute' Mohammad Taqi Roghaniha and Managing Editor of the Press Institute Mohammad Fazeli on news and press reporting.

Notimex was founded in year 1968 and its headquarters located in Mexico city, Mexico.
