IRNA Chief extends condolences on plane crash

In a message released on Monday, Hashemi said the tragic incident of Tehran-Yasouj plane crash, which resulted in death of tens of Iranians, caused grief in Iran, especially people in Kohgilouyeh-Boyerahmad Province.

'I consider it as my duty to express condolences on the tragedy and wish God Almighty for divine ascendance of the victims and patience of the honorable family of the victims.'

An 'ATR' passenger plane belonging to Aseman Airline crashed somewhere close to Semirom, south of Isfahan province, on Sunday when it was flying from Tehran to Yasouj.

All 60 passengers and 6 crew members of the plane are feared dead in the incident.
