Iran's universities' chancellors confer with envoy in Ankara

The chancellors were in Ankara to attend international conference of Islamic world universities.

In the meeting, program of the conference were reviewed and participants discussed bilateral cooperation between Iranian and Turkish universities.

The ambassador underlined the importance of scientific exchanges and academic cooperation between the two countries and said that development of this sector of relations is an appropriate way to introduce scientific capacities of Iranian universities to Turk scientific society.

Chancellor of Tabriz University, as national coordinating university, presented a report on planning to develop ties and academic cooperation between the two countries.

Secretary General of D-8 Organization Ali Mousavi also in the meeting with Iranian chancellors explained goals of D-8 in expanding academic cooperation between members countries universities.
