Sabina Higgins, wife of the Irish President, as well as Lord Mayor of Dublin Mícheál Mac Donncha and a number of foreign envoys in the Irish capital city were among senior officials who visited the Iranian booth at the ICB.

Organized by Iran’s embassy in Ireland, the booth showcased cultural objects from Iran including handicrafts, exquisite books, pictures of Iran’s tourist locations and attractions and also presents Iranian foods to visitors.

Many other Ireland-based foreign missions have also participated in the charity bazaar to put in display cultural items of their respective countries.

The International Charity Bazaar (ICB) is held twice a year aiming to collect people’s aids for poor countries.

The event consists of two sections of Diplomatic Ball and Annual Bazaar.

This year’s event was held in Dublin Castle.
