Iran’s quantitative growth of science production reaches 15%

Mohammad Javad Dehqani said that 14,524 certificates have so far been indexed.

Some 49,535 certificates were registered in Scopus in 2016 and Iran registered 43,111 certificates in 2015.

“Russia and Malaysia having 11% and 6% growth ranked second and third respectively,” he added.

During 2005-2010, about 20%-24% of science production was related to those articles published after attending international conferences.

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, including the scientific journals, books and conference proceedings.
