Iran's, Indian universities sign MoU

The cooperation document between Iran's Imam Reza (AS) International University and India's Manipal Academy of Higher Education was signed in a ceremony held in the presence of high-ranking officials from the two universities in the northeastern province of Khorasan-e Razavi.

According to the MoU, the two Iranian and Indian universities will improve their cooperation in fields of holding joint training courses and doing joint research projects.

Iran's Imam Reza (AS) International University and India's Manipal Academy of Higher Education will also exchange academics and students based on the cooperation document.

Established in 2005, Imam Reza University is a private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Sarakhs, Tehran, Dushanbe. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Science Research and Technology, Iran, Imam Reza University (IRU) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.

Also, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, formerly known as Manipal University, is a private research institute deemed to be university located in the university town of Manipal, Udupi, Karnataka, India. Manipal Academy of Higher Education has branch campuses in Dubai and Mangalore.
