Iran’s envoy confers with Syrian minister of higher education

In the meeting, Torkabadi underlined importance of expanding cooperation horizons between universities of the two countries and arrangement of reciprocal visits between academicians and students.

He said that strengthening strategic cooperation between the two countries in fight against terrorism, misleading thoughts and exchanging scientific experiences would have special importance in mutual ties.

Atef al-Naddaf called for extending signed scientific agreements between the two states in the fields of exchanging students and scientific experiences at academic level and maximum use of scholarships by both sides.

He expressed his ministry's readiness to hold courses for teaching Arabic Language for Iranian students.
