Addressing the meeting, Vafin pointed to the health conditions in Iran like insurance, the quality of medical centers, self-sufficiency in pharmaceutical production and life expectancy rate as valuable.
Vafin also hailed promoting cooperation with Iranian academic and medical centers.
He went on to say that Tatarstan will dispatch expert delegation to Iran to review cooperation fields.
Eghbali Zarech also referred to Iran’s achievements in medical fields like investment on medical tourism, 40% insurance coverage of the family doctor plan, producing different vaccines, performing over 30,000 transplants per year and the possibility of signing MoU between two countries to actively participate in the scientific and medical congress as the start point of cooperation.
