Iranian university to host EU top delegation

The European delegation consisting of 37 university officials and academics is to stay in Iran until July 4, Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Office of Kharazmi University Gholamreza Karimi told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday.

The trip aims at creating joint work groups between Iran and the European Union, he said.

The joint work group of Iran and the European Union will convene during the trip.

Karimi went on to say that Chancellor of Kharazmi University is scheduled to deliver a speech on European Studies as a field of study in Iran when the joint work group meets.

Both sides are to hold talks on establishing cooperation on climate change and European studies, Karimi added.
